1% for the Planet

Shole is delighted to be partnering with 1% for the Planet, a global organization that connects dollars and doers to accelerate smart environmental giving.

As a member of 1% for the Planet, Shole is committing to donating 1% of sales to Plastic Oceans UK.  Their mission is to stop plastic reaching our oceans within a generation, and is a cause that fits very well with the ethos of Shole.

Through business and individual memberships, 1% for the Planet inspires people to support environmental organizations through annual membership and everyday actions.

They advise on giving strategies, certify donations and amplify the impact of the network.

Started in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, members have given more than $200 million to environmental nonprofits to date.

Today, 1% for the Planet is a network of more than 1,800 business members, a new and expanding core with hundreds of individual members, and thousands of nonprofit partners in more than 60 countries.
